Custom Easter Baskets Are Back at Timeless Toys

We’re so excited to share some big news: our very own Flavia Paul recently stopped by WGN Daytime Chicago to show off one of our favorite Timeless Toys traditions, our custom Easter baskets!

33 Years and Counting

This year marks 33 years of Timeless Toys right here in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood. That’s 33 years of helping families find toys that spark imagination, encourage creativity, and hold up to real play.

We’ve had the joy of watching kids who grew up shopping here bring their own children through our doors. That kind of trust means everything to us, and it’s something we never take for granted.

Our Team Knows Toys (Like, Really Knows Toys)

Here’s something a lot of people don’t realize: every member of our staff is ASTRA Certified. ASTRA stands for the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association, and the certification involves an intensive course covering childhood development, physical and emotional growth, and how different types of play support each stage of a child’s life.

How Our Custom Easter Baskets Work

Our custom Easter baskets are available in three tiers: $60, $80, and $100. You tell us a little about the child (their age, interests, what they’re into right now) and we handle the rest. Every basket is hand-selected and assembled by our team with the same care we’d put into a basket for our own families.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Toys chosen specifically for your child’s age, interests, and developmental stage
• A beautiful layered presentation with tissue, filling, and toys arranged for a full 360-degree display
• Your child’s name written on curled ribbon for a personal touch
• Available for in-store pickup, local delivery, or nationwide shipping
• For pickup orders, we’ll tuck the basket into an opaque black bag so the surprise stays safe from little eyes

On the show, Flavia built baskets live for two kids: four-year-old Harrison, who loves dinosaurs, trucks, and cooking, and 17-month-old Andrea, who got a gorgeous selection of high-contrast sensory toys and the cutest fruit-themed finger puppets. It was so much fun to watch it all come together on air!
